Agents are in Confluence (and wherever you need them to be)

This post announces the expansion of agent capabilities within Confluence, allowing them to perform actions previously only possible by human teammates, such as commenting, labeling, setting status, and creating whiteboards or databases. Agents can now operate directly within the editor or comments, grounded in the team's own content. The Atlassian Rovo MCP enables these agents to work from various external tools like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT, reading and writing live Confluence content. Confluence Analytics now tracks agent activity alongside human contributors. Space-level instructions provide agents with team-specific playbooks, ensuring behavior aligns with team workflows and adhering to permissions and action reversibility. Agents are available on Standard, Premium, and Enterprise Cloud plans.
