Rethinking UX: how Opus Guard built AI-assisted Data Governance with Rovo and Forge

Opus Guard integrated Rovo Agents and Actions into their Confluence Content Retention Manager app to provide AI-assisted content classification. This integration leverages Rovo Chat to allow users to request classification levels, view content classification, and set classification levels. The agent uses Rovo Actions (fetch-content, fetch-classification-levels, fetch-content-classification-level, set-content-classification-level) to interact with Confluence data. The prompt engineering for the agent defines workflows and jobs, and response handling customizes the output. Marketplace Agents, unlike Studio Agents, require explicit Rovo Actions for knowledge retrieval. Security considerations for Rovo Actions are managed through Forge's defined permissions and governance model, ensuring data remains within Atlassian Cloud.
