Internal Tooling & Diagnostics

Cloudflare's internal tooling for network diagnostics, Crossbow, has undergone a significant refactor and rearchitecture. The tool now focuses on a CLI interface, deprecating the UI to streamline development and improve usability. The architecture has been modernized with a pub/sub pipeline, JWT authentication via Cloudflare Access, and deployment on Cloudflare Spectrum, removing the VPN requirement. Integration with other internal tools and the adoption of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) have led to dramatic usage increases and improved delivery velocity.
