Adding the Fallback Pool to the Load Balancing UI and other significant UI enhancements
Mar 21, 2020Brian Batraski

Summary
This post introduces the addition of a fallback pool to the Load Balancing UI, allowing users to designate a pool of last resort for traffic when all other pools are unavailable. It also details significant UI improvements, including a facelift and de-modaling of the Load Balancing app, combining health status and icons, and updating toggle buttons. Shared objects like Monitors and Pools now have columns indicating their usage, and confirmation modals with impact lists are added for edits. Edits to Monitors are now restricted to the Manage Monitors page. Action buttons have been updated from icons to clear text ('Edit', 'Delete') to prevent accidental deletions.
