Bringing connections into view: real-time BGP route visibility on Cloudflare Radar

This post introduces a new real-time BGP route lookup service on Cloudflare Radar, accessible via both a web interface and an API. This service provides near-instantaneous visualizations of BGP routes for IP prefixes, including Sankey diagrams and detailed origin tables with RPKI validation status. The accompanying API allows developers to programmatically access this data for automated tools, enhancing capabilities for BGP leak and hijack detection. The feature leverages data from RIPE RIS Live and RouteViews to reduce data delay from minutes to seconds, significantly improving the ability to monitor and debug internet routing.
