May 13, 2022Mickie Betz, Zaid Farooqui
Summary
Introduced live caption support for Cloudflare Stream by enabling auto-detection and inclusion of embedded CEA-608 and CEA-708 captions in live streams ingested via SRT and RTMPS. The Stream Player will render these captions automatically, and custom players can be configured to display them. Support is currently for a single language during live events, with multi-language support available for on-demand versions.
