Evenly Distributed Future

This post discusses Cloudflare's mission to democratize the internet's future by making advanced technologies and performance accessible to all websites, regardless of size. It highlights how Cloudflare's global network and continuous adoption of new internet technologies (IPv6, HTTP/2, TLS 1.3, Brotli) provide a performance and security advantage, effectively bridging the gap between large, well-resourced organizations and smaller websites. It also touches on how Cloudflare's infrastructure helps mitigate the impact of unexpected popularity and DDoS attacks, and contrasts the limitations of hardware-based solutions with Cloudflare's software-defined approach.
