Integrating Cloudflare Gateway and Access

This post introduces the integration of Cloudflare Gateway and Cloudflare Access, allowing Access policies to require that all user traffic to an application be filtered by Gateway. This ensures that all traffic to self-hosted and SaaS applications is secured and centrally logged. It addresses challenges related to device security before application connection, data leakage, and compromised credentials by leveraging Gateway's threat filtering, file upload/download controls, and content category filtering. The integration allows for rules that restrict connections to devices running Gateway and enforces data control rules within SaaS applications by integrating Access into the login flow, preventing access without Gateway protection.
