Introduced the Bandwidth Alliance, a partnership with cloud and networking companies to reduce or eliminate data transfer fees for mutual customers. This initiative leverages existing peered connections and introduces smart routing to ensure traffic between Cloudflare and participating providers qualifies for reduced or zero bandwidth rates. Founding members include Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, Automattic, Backblaze, DigitalOcean, DreamHost, Linode, Packet, Scaleway, and Vapor. The estimated annual savings for Cloudflare customers is $50 million.
