Migrating from VPN to Access

This post details Cloudflare's migration from a traditional VPN-based security model to a zero-trust architecture using Cloudflare Access. It highlights the challenges of VPN maintenance and scaling, and the introduction of SSH support over Access to secure source control systems. The post also describes the use of Cloudflare Spectrum to protect the existing VPN infrastructure during the transition period, addressing MTU issues for UDP-based VPN traffic and achieving an MTU of 1420.
