R2 Data Catalog: Managed Apache Iceberg tables with zero egress fees

Introduced R2 Data Catalog in open beta, a managed Apache Iceberg catalog built directly into Cloudflare R2 buckets. This provides database-like capabilities (ACID transactions, schema evolution, efficient querying) for data stored in object storage without requiring external data catalog infrastructure. It exposes a standard Iceberg REST catalog interface for integration with engines like PyIceberg, Snowflake, and Spark. Pricing for the catalog operations and data compaction will be introduced in the future, while R2 storage and operations costs remain unchanged and egress fees are $0.
