The RUM Diaries: enabling Web Analytics by default

This post announces the upcoming integration of Web Analytics into Cloudflare's performance analytics suite, combining client-side metrics (Core Web Vitals, resource load times, TLS handshake duration) with network-level and origin data. It details the architecture: a lightweight JavaScript beacon in the browser, aggregation at the edge to reduce storage and remove personal information, and processing in core data centers.
