CoreWeave Mission Control | Operational Intelligence for AI

This post introduces CoreWeave Mission Control MCP and Agent. MCP provides a hosted Model Context Protocol server, enabling MCP-compatible clients (like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) to query metrics, logs, documentation, and resource state (clusters, nodes, SUNK, CAOIS) scoped to an organization via API token. This facilitates agent-driven investigations by bringing together disparate data sources. The Mission Control Agent integrates operational intelligence into the CoreWeave console, identifying performance bottlenecks in AI deployments (e.g., inference throughput drops due to KV cache pressure from longer contexts) and recommending specific optimizations like quantization (NVFP4, FP8) and model reshaping based on workload characterization, NVLink topology, and communication costs. It leverages hardware observability telemetry (chip, chassis, rack, network fabric, cooling) and internal performance data to provide actionable insights.
