IP Functions for Network Analytics

This post introduces IP Functions, a new capability for the Databricks Lakehouse that enables high-performance network analytics directly within SQL. These functions are designed to process and analyze IP-related data at petabyte scale, offering significant performance improvements over previous methods. The capability aims to unlock new use cases for network data analysis, such as security monitoring, traffic analysis, and network performance optimization, by making these operations more efficient and accessible within the data warehousing environment.
