Go Profiling Improvements

Datadog is enhancing its Go profiling capabilities by contributing to and leveraging improvements in the Go runtime. This includes addressing CPU profiling accuracy issues on Linux by migrating from setitimer(2) to timer_create(2) for more reliable signal delivery and per-thread accounting. Additionally, bug fixes have been implemented for profiler labels (pprof tags), improving their reliability and enabling more granular data slicing for tracing and debugging. These efforts aim to provide more accurate and actionable performance insights for Go applications.
