Our journey taking Kubernetes state metrics to the next level | Datadog

Datadog contributed to the kube-state-metrics project to improve its scalability and extensibility. The team refactored the metric generation process, resulting in a 15x reduction in collection duration and enabling more granular data collection at high scale. This involved improving the core KSM library to handle large Kubernetes clusters more effectively.
