This model is fine-tuned for finding, validating, and patching software vulnerabilities, offering improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness compared to larger cybersecurity models. It is designed to be invoked multiple times by agents like CodeMender to analyze a large number of code paths and discover vulnerabilities. Benchmark results on CyberGym, Google's Big Sleep evaluation, and Chrome's production commit scanning pipeline demonstrate its competitive performance and ability to find more unique vulnerabilities than mainline Flash models. The model is being deployed in Google's internal codebases for real-world application.
