Announcing Git LFS Support in GitLab

Introduced support for Git Large File Storage (LFS) in GitLab.com, GitLab Community Edition, and GitLab Enterprise Edition. Git LFS uses reference pointers within small text files to point to large files stored on GitLab servers, bypassing previous Git repository size restrictions and improving performance for versioning large assets like video, images, and audio files.
