GitLab 18.7: Advancing AI automation and developer experience

The 18.7 release introduces Custom Flows for automating multistep workflows using YAML-defined sequences that orchestrate agents. It also adds a SAST False Positive Detection Flow that uses AI to identify potential false positives, a Custom Agent Versioning feature to pin projects to specific agent/flow versions, new settings for Foundational Agents allowing admins to turn them on/off at instance/group level, and a Data Analyst Agent for natural language exploration of GitLab data via GLQL. Core DevOps enhancements include Dynamic Input Selection in GitLab Pipelines for UI-driven triggers and CI/CD Catalog Publication Guardrails for administrators to control component publishing. Platform Security introduces Warn Mode for MR Approval Policies, allowing violations to be surfaced without blocking merges.
