Summary
This post announces the planned deployment of Patroni as the PostgreSQL Failover Manager on GitLab.com. It details two upcoming maintenance windows: a dry-run on December 8, 2018, and the actual cutover on December 15, 2018. During these windows, several GitLab services including the SaaS website, Git SSH/HTTPS, registry, CI/CD, and Pages will be unavailable. The maintenance windows are planned to be 30 minutes each.
