Speed meets governance: Model Selection comes to GitLab Duo

Introduces GitLab Duo Model Selection, a new capability allowing namespace owners to configure which AI models teams can use across different GitLab Duo features. This provides control over governance, compliance, and security standards, enabling organizations to select models from their pre-approved vendor list or use the GitLab default model. The feature is available in private beta for Duo Enterprise customers.
