Introduced Open Packet DWDM, a packet transponder and open line transport system combining packet and DWDM technology for fiber optic transport networks. Developed Voyager, an industry-first "white box" transponder and routing solution based on Open Packet DWDM, leveraging data center technologies like Wedge 100's switch ASIC and Acacia Communications' DSP ASIC and optics module. Contributed Open Packet DWDM to the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) via the Backhaul: Open Optical Packet Transport (OOPT) project group to encourage open and programmable network architectures. Open-sourced Voyager software.
