Building the Send Button

Introduced the Send button, a new social plugin that allows users to send links to a subset of their friends, complementing the Like button. Implemented a dialog (flyout) that communicates with the button via the Facebook Connect JavaScript SDK. Developed a custom typeahead for recipient suggestions, including friends, groups, and external email addresses, by extending core Facebook tokenizer and typeahead modules. Leveraged the Messages system for sending to various recipient types. Enabled combining Like and Send buttons in a single XFBML tag.
