New fastMRI open source AI research tools from Facebook and NYU School of Medicine

This post details the release of open-source AI tools and data for the fastMRI project, a collaboration between Facebook AI Research (FAIR) and NYU School of Medicine. It includes new AI models and baselines for accelerating MRI scans, as well as the first large-scale MRI dataset of its kind. The contribution aims to standardize research by providing a common set of tools and data, enabling researchers to compare results on a leaderboard and advance AI-driven image reconstruction techniques for faster and more accessible diagnostic imaging.
