OpenBMC for server: Porting and supporting new features for “Yosemite”

This post details the porting and enhancement of OpenBMC for the multi-node server platform 'Yosemite'. Key contributions include removing the insecure RMCP+ protocol, adding SSH and REST API support for management and debugging, implementing IPMI FRUID support for various Field Replaceable Units, developing a sensor monitoring daemon, enabling multi-node support by updating software modules and utilities to handle multiple server boards, enhancing the Ethernet driver with NCSI support, adding I2C driver secondary support for IPMB communication, implementing an IPMB framework for BMC and Bridge-IC communication, adding IPMI SDR support with a caching daemon, implementing discrete signal monitoring for error conditions, and developing utilities for FRUID information, Serial-Over-LAN, power control, and sensor readings. A REST API was also introduced for programmatic management.
