Releasing Pythia for vision and language multimodal AI models
May 21, 2019

Summary
This post introduces Pythia, a new deep learning framework for vision and language multimodal AI models. Pythia is built on PyTorch and features a modular, plug-and-play design to facilitate rapid model building, reproduction, and benchmarking. It supports multitasking, distributed training, custom losses, metrics, scheduling, and optimizers, and incorporates elements from winning entries in AI competitions like the VQA Challenge and Vizwiz Challenge. The goal is to accelerate progress in the vision and language domain by increasing model reproducibility and enabling faster prototyping and experimentation.
