Announcing public preview of the new Deployment Groups in Release Management
May 11, 2017Roopesh Nair

Summary
This post announces the public preview of Deployment Groups in Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) Release Management. Deployment Groups are introduced as a new feature to orchestrate multi-machine deployments, perform rolling updates while ensuring high availability, and represent physical environments (Dev, QA, UAT/Prod). Getting started involves creating a Deployment Group in the 'Build & Release' hub, adding servers by running a cmdlet, and using in-the-box templates for deployments. Servers can be tagged for rolling deployments, and live logs are available for each server.
