Defining variables while creating a Release in RM
May 18, 2017Abhishek Agrawai

Summary
This post introduces the capability to define and modify variables during the creation of a Release in Azure Release Management (RM), similar to how it can be done when queuing a Build. It details a step-by-step process involving creating a Release in 'Draft' mode, editing the desired variables (e.g., changing 'a1' to 'foo2'), saving the draft, and then starting the release. This allows for on-the-fly customization of release variables before the release is initiated.
