Personalize what notifications you receive for releases
May 27, 2017Shashank Bansal

Summary
This post introduces a new feature for personalizing release notification settings within Azure DevOps. Previously, release definition authors controlled notification settings, leading to confusion. The new system provides out-of-the-box default notifications for all users, allowing individual users to opt-out or customize their subscriptions. This includes notifications for pending approvals, deployment completions, and other release events. The feature is available for Team Services and not for Team Foundation Server. It also details how to enable the preview feature and manage personal and team notification settings.
