Summary
Introduced Desired State Configuration (DSC) deployment as a feature in Visual Studio Release Management 2013 Update 3 CTP1. This allows for app deployments to on-premise and Azure environments without requiring a deployment agent on target servers, by leveraging PowerShell scripts executed via DSC.
