This post announces the November 2012 update for SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), introducing support for selective XML indexes, automatic and manual checks for SSDT updates, an updated Data-Tier Application Framework (DACFx), and integration with SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 components. It also includes over 30 bug fixes and notes compatibility requirements with SSDT Power Tools v1.4.
