May 9, 2016Prachi Bora (MSFT)

Summary
This post illustrates how to use Visual Studio Enterprise trial to learn about load test capabilities in the VS IDE, and how to leverage the free 20,000 VUM monthly quota of a VSTS account to see cloud-based load testing in action. It details the steps for downloading and installing the Enterprise trial, signing in to activate the trial, creating a VSTS account, and downloading a sample load test project to complete a walkthrough. It also addresses FAQs regarding basic access in VSTS, alternative load testing options for non-Visual Studio users (Apache JMeter), and options for obtaining an Enterprise license.
