Use cloud load agents on your infrastructure

This post introduces the capability to use user-provisioned machines (physical or VMs) as load agents for the Cloud-based Load Testing service. It provides a PowerShell script (ManageVSTSCloudLoadAgent.ps1) to configure these machines, requiring TeamServicesAccountName and a PATToken with 'Load Test (read and write)' scope. The script can configure agents, list agent groups and agents, and delete agents. It also details how to queue runs using these self-provisioned agents via the VSTS portal or Visual Studio Enterprise IDE by setting context parameters like 'UseStaticLoadAgents' and 'StaticAgentsGroupName'. The post clarifies that runs on user-owned agents are not charged, but Azure VM costs apply. It also addresses FAQs regarding communication, charging, machine usage, shutdown, proxy settings, and log collection.
