VSTS New work item form futures (January 2016)

This post details the completion of several features for the new work item form in Visual Studio Team Services: developer workflows (linking branches, pull requests, and commits), header improvements (increased data density, grouping reason and state), sticky behavior in groups (remembering collapsed states), links in the front page (new customizable control for displaying link relationships), admin layout improvements (increased UI fidelity, bringing discussion and development group into admin layout, allowing HTML fields), and new control extensibility (enabling user-developed controls via a new contribution point).
