VSTS Process Customization futures (June 2016)

This post outlines future plans for Azure DevOps process customization, detailing planned features for Q3 and Q4 2016. Key planned features include the ability to create custom work item types and add them to the backlog, the addition of identity fields to existing work item types, the definition of simple business logic and rules through a UI, the release of REST APIs for customization, and improvements to custom states and picklists. Early mocks and a rough timeline are provided for these upcoming capabilities.
