What is New in Code Analysis for Visual Studio 2013

Visual Studio 2013 introduces categories for native rules and exposes existing managed code analysis categories in the UI, allowing for more fine-grained grouping of defects. Users can filter results by category using a dropdown or search box. The post also adds support for sorting the defect list by six common properties (Rule ID, File Name, Category, Severity, Status, and Assigned To) in the Code Analysis Viewer, with descending order available by selecting a sort property twice.
