TAOBench: Running social media workloads on PlanetScale

This post introduces TAOBench, a new synthetic benchmark designed to simulate social media workloads, analyzing its workload composition (Workload A and O), schema (objects and edges tables), and test timeline (load, bulk reads, experiments). It presents PlanetScale's initial results, highlighting the sustained stability of its multi-tenant serverless offering under extreme resource pressure, specifically noting the system's behavior when hitting CPU limits.
