What this trail covers

Telegram has introduced several features related to user identity and authentication. This includes 'Member Tags' for group members to display roles or interests, and 'Log In With Telegram' for seamless sign-up and login to external apps and websites. The platform also enhances chat privacy with the ability to 'Disable Sharing' in 1-on-1 chats, and improves media interaction with GIF editing, captions, and instant sticker creation from photos. Additionally, polls now feature timestamps for voting. This update introduces 'Star Messages' for monetizing incoming messages from non-contacts, offering flexible controls and instant refunds. It also enhances contact confirmation with a detailed info page to spot scams and impersonators. Users can now gift Premium subscriptions with Stars and withdraw earned Stars via Fragment. Gifts can be pinned to profiles, and Android users can stream to Chromecast. The Verification Platform is now 20% more cost-effective with a max delivery time and automatic refunds for verification codes.
