Telegram has introduced several features related to user identity and authentication. This includes 'Member Tags' for group members to display roles or interests, and 'Log In With Telegram' for seamless sign-up and login to external apps and websites. The platform also enhances chat privacy with the ability to 'Disable Sharing' in 1-on-1 chats, and improves media interaction with GIF editing, captions, and instant sticker creation from photos. Passkeys, Gift Purchase Offers and More

Introduced passkeys for instant login using device PIN or biometrics (Face ID, fingerprints) as an alternative to SMS codes. Passkeys are stored encrypted on the device and can sync with password managers. Also added 'Gift Purchase Offers' allowing users to make offers to buy gifts with Stars or TON, with built-in scam protection, price setting, time limits, and reserved payment. Finally, users can now add audio from their profile playlist to stories.
