Temporal in Space

This post details an experiment where a Temporal workflow was run on a Raspberry Pi attached to a weather balloon launched into space. The workflow consisted of a Python script that invoked an Activity every five seconds to read data from a USB sensor, parse it, and store the processed information in Temporal's Event History. The experiment demonstrated Temporal's ability to recover from connectivity loss in the upper atmosphere and seamlessly continue operations once connectivity was restored, highlighting its fault-tolerance capabilities in an extreme environment.
