AI SDK 4.0

AI SDK 4.0 introduces PDF support for Anthropic, Google Generative AI, and Google Vertex AI providers, allowing for text extraction, analysis, summarization, and question answering from PDFs. It also adds computer use support for Anthropic's Claude 3.5 Sonnet model, enabling mouse/keyboard control, screenshot capture, terminal commands, and text file manipulation through predefined tools. Continuation support is added for generating text beyond standard output limits by detecting and continuing incomplete generations across multiple steps. A new official provider for xAI Grok is introduced. Additional provider updates include v2 support and tool calling for Cohere, predicted output and prompt caching for OpenAI, file inputs, fine-tuned models, schema, tool choice, frequency penalty, and text embedding support for Google Generative AI and Vertex AI, Amazon Titan embedding models for Amazon Bedrock, and Groq support.
