Discuss experience with company products
Interview Question: Product Experience
In an interview for a Software Engineer role at a company specializing in infrastructure products (e.g., Cloudflare), the interviewer asks:
"Do you have any experience using our products?"
Candidates are expected to formulate an effective response for two distinct scenarios:
- Scenario 1: Direct Experience When you possess genuine, hands-on experience with the company's products.
- Scenario 2: No Direct Experience, but Prepared When you lack direct, hands-on experience but have thoroughly researched the company and its offerings in preparation for the interview.
