Partition Equal Subset Sum
Partition Equal Subset Sum
Given an array of integers nums, determine if it's possible to partition the array into two subsets such that the sum of elements in each subset is equal. Return true if such a partition exists, and false otherwise.
Example 1:
Input: nums = [1, 5, 11, 5]
Output: true
Explanation: The array can be partitioned into [1, 5, 5] (sum 11) and [11] (sum 11).
Example 2:
Input: nums = [1, 2, 3, 5]
Output: false
Explanation: The array cannot be partitioned into two subsets with equal sums.
Constraints:
1 <= nums.length <= 2001 <= nums[i] <= 100

Core dilemma
Determining if a subset exists that sums to exactly half of the total sum, which is a variation of the subset sum problem, often solved with dynamic programming or recursion with memoization. The core challenge is efficiently exploring combinations without redundant computations.
