Embodied AI Interaction and Learning

This post introduces a novel approach to embodied AI, where an AI agent is given a physical form (a shape display) and encouraged to learn and develop its own 'body language' through interaction and a closed-loop system. This moves beyond task-oriented AI to explore self-discovery and emergent behaviors in physical AI. The system learns to generate, score, and validate gestures, developing a response mechanism that can be faster than the underlying language model. The work explores aesthetic machines and the potential for physical AI to feel more welcoming.
