Custom deployment permissions for your environments (Beta)

Introduces custom deployment permissions for Bitbucket Pipelines environments, allowing granular control over who can trigger deployments. This feature enables gating specific environments to authorized users and groups, reducing production risk, avoiding unnecessary admin access, and supporting compliance workflows by separating code merge and deployment responsibilities. Permissions are managed via Repository settings → Pipelines → Deployments, with limitations on the number of users/groups per environment and precedence over scheduled/automated deployments.
