Just-in-Time Transformation to Deliver Quality, Cut Cost, and Spread Joy

Introduced a just-in-time transformation architecture for video processing using an AVServer. This system dynamically generates video renditions and converts between streaming protocols (DASH to HLS) on demand, reducing storage costs and improving time-to-view. Implemented ephemeral media files on the CDN, minimizing permanent storage costs. Enabled lazy application of user edits to videos, saving computational resources. Developed a revision ID mechanism for cache invalidation and dynamic resource generation. Enabled new features like noise suppression, instant trimming/stitching, and dynamic composition with text, images, and drawings by leveraging the AVServer.
