Meet the all-new Loom for Mac: faster, sharper, and delightful by default

This post details the native rebuilding of the Loom for Mac desktop app, focusing on performance improvements (faster launch, lower memory usage, smaller app size), enhanced screen capture capabilities (4K support, automatic decluttering, precise capture), improved camera and audio pipeline (new bubble shapes, filters, backgrounds, edge-snapping), refreshed speaker notes with teleprompter functionality, and a new 'Record for agents' feature that transforms screen recordings into AI-executable instructions. The underlying technology improvements leverage advanced macOS screen capture features and a new screen-awareness layer for real-time understanding of screen elements.
