Announcing New Features To Help Hosting Providers Run Their Own Reliable DNS Infrastructure

Summary
Cloudflare Virtual DNS now offers Serve Stale and DNS Rate Limiting features. Serve Stale allows Virtual DNS to answer queries from cache even if the customer's nameservers are down, providing a backup. DNS Rate Limiting allows configuration of query thresholds sent to customer nameservers, shielding their infrastructure from excessive load. These features enhance reliability for hosting providers running their own DNS infrastructure.
