Announcing Project Pangea: Helping Underserved Communities Expand Access to the Internet For Free

This post introduces Project Pangea, a program offering Cloudflare's network services (Network Interconnect, Magic Transit, Magic Firewall) for free to non-profit community networks serving underserved areas. It directly aligns with Cloudflare's founding vision of democratizing internet access and addresses the problem of expensive and unreliable connectivity in these communities. The post also debunks common myths about underserved regions and highlights the technical and logistical challenges faced by community networks in establishing internet access.
