API Endpoint Management and Metrics are now GA
This post announces the General Availability (GA) of API Endpoint Management and Performance Metrics within Cloudflare's API Shield. Key contributions include: 1. GA of Endpoint Management: Allows saving, updating, and deleting API endpoints, supporting both auto-discovered and manually added endpoints. 2. GA of Performance Metrics: Collects and displays metrics like latency, error rate (4xx/5xx), request count, and response size for managed endpoints. Includes sparklines for relative performance comparison and anomaly detection. 3. API Discovery enhancements: Now accepts cookies in addition to authorization headers for session identification. 4. Schema Validation enhancement: Allows validation of request bodies against OpenAPI schemas, in addition to existing header/cookie validation.
