Cloudflare Repositories FTW

This post details how Kali Linux integrated Cloudflare's CDN to serve its apt repository and large ISO images. For the apt repository, custom Nginx configurations were used to add `Cache-Tag` headers for metadata files and set `expires max` for package files. An API call was implemented to purge metadata files from the CDN cache after repository updates. For large file distribution, Cloudflare increased the maximum cacheable file size to accommodate Kali's ISO images, leading to a significant reduction in origin server load and bandwidth costs.
